Sammy the Spider

This is the tragic tale of Sammy the Spider, as told from his point of view.

Let me say that I greatly dislike spiders, yet ever since I was a child, I have always felt guilty when I unwittingly tore apart the webs they took so long to build. I also remember how incomprehensible it was for me to understand why spiders still had the will to make another web after I had just destroyed it. They simply are never discouraged from my careless atrocities. (You'd think they'd learn by now that I am never, ever going to be a cautious person.)

I absolutely despise the sensation of having spiderwebs strung across my skin. Ugh.

Sorry for doing that to you this morning, Sammy.

  1. Hehe. I know the feeling. I always freek out when I walk through a spider web and lose all attempts to look cool.

Sometimes I think the local spiders are actually trying to capture me.

  8. Hey there.
:) Have you noticed that there are certain days that have a mysteriously large amount of spiderwebs floating through the air? Those days are pretty much my least favorite days ever. lol

Apparently, leaving comments on this blog is a hit-or-miss game of Russian roulette: you are either lucky and can comment away, or you are required to log in when the settings are CLEARLY set to allow trouble-free commenting (sorry 'bout that, folks). If anything, the Facebook page is always a viable option. :) -Barb
